Peer Mentor
Hola! My name is Xiomara Garcia, I am from Gilroy, California.
I am a first year studying Bioengineering. My favorite class I've taken at SCU so far has been my English CTW class. I am bilingual in Spanish, I adore cows, and I have an older brother who recently graduated from CalPoly SLO. In addition to LEAD, another organization I am involved in is Elevate Tutoring where I tutor and mentor students in STEM related classes across disadvantaged communities in San Jose. I also volunteer for the SWE-GetSET Program throughout the year.
