Mission Statement

The mission of the High Tech Law Institute is to be a nationally recognized program that educates and trains lawyers who find innovative legal solutions to intellectual property and technology issues.

Affiliated Programs 

Privacy Law Program – unique in its premier access to industry leaders in data technology 

Entrepreneurs’ Law Clinic – a clinical program for upper-division law students

Tech Edge JD – an innovative legal education program combining law, business, technology, and individualized mentorship.

JD/MSIS and JD/MBA Joint Degree Programs – allows students to develop a deep technological understanding of the information technology industry’s legal issues and learn how to use technology effectively in a law practice.

LLM Candidates – The LLM in Intellectual Property program is for students who currently hold a JD degree from a US law school.

The High Tech Advisory Board is a group of practicing attorneys, retired judges, and industry leaders who guide the High Tech Law Institute.
