I was Born in Belize City, where I attended Jesuit school and eventually started my teaching career in English as well. I completed my B.A. in English at LeMoyne College in Syracuse, NY and my M.A. in English at the University of Virginia. I taught at the Jesuit junior college in Belize, then at Marquette University High School, a Jesuit high school, in Milwaukee. WI. I am an avid world traveler and I am presently engaged in writing projects. My work and world view are profoundly informed by Ignatian spirituality and pedagogy.
