Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) are voluntary, employee-led groups whose aim is to foster a positive, inclusive workplace aligned with the organizations they serve. These groups create a welcoming, affirming, and inclusive environment for all staff employees through networking, mentoring, advocacy, professional development, and social gatherings.
Today, the ERGs operate under the auspices of the Inclusive Excellence Division and Human Resources. In addition, the ERGs maintain their historic links to the SCU Staff Senate, as it was originally through the Staff Senate that the ERGs were formed in 2020.
All SCU employees (faculty and staff) are eligible to participate in the ERG Groups.
If you have any questions and/or have ideas about additional ERGs, please reach out to the ERG Liaison Ray Plaza at rplaza@scu.edu.
