Immerse yourself in Montgomery, Alabama, and the surrounding areas, exploring the living legacy of the civil rights movement. We will be hosted by Resurrection Catholic Missions of the South, a diverse parish that operates programs focused on education, faith, healthcare, social services, and advocacy.  The group will be working hands-on on local initiatives and outreach programs, learning about the rich history of social movements, hearing reflections, and sharing meals with citizens who were instrumental in the Civil Rights Movement. The immersion is a unique opportunity to learn about the rich heritage of liberation and human rights in the African-American and Southern Communities.
