Because of Our Students, the Future Looks Bright
Spring has arrived in full splendor all across the SCU campus. From the blossoming roses and wisteria, to the groups of students gathering in the sunshine, the campus is filled with a renewed sense of liveliness and expectation. Here at the Ignatian Center, we are especially excited for this time of year as we welcome the newest group of Jean Donovan Fellows! This summer twenty Fellows will be traveling to locations throughout the United States and as far away as the Philippines to accompany communities with little access to wealth, power, and privilege. We anticipate that their experiences will be life changing and will fulfill SCU’s mission to cultivate leaders of competence, conscience, and compassion.
Through your generosity we are able to offer these transformational experiences. You demonstrated your amazing support for the Ignatian Center’s students on SCU’s 11th annual Day of Giving earlier this month. We are so grateful to generous supporters like you because your gifts change students’ lives by providing them with opportunities to grow into people for and with others.
Solidarity & Discernment
We are excited to introduce the 2024 Jean Donovan Fellows! These amazing SCU undergrads will engage with organizations of their own choosing from around the world, addressing social justice issues ranging from immigration to food justice. We can't wait to hear about how their life-changing experiences lead to meaningful vocational discernment.
