The mission of any institution is always important to its vitality and its role in the wider world. In times of crisis a deep engagement with mission becomes essential as it drives how an institution will respond to challenges and make difficult decisions. In our current context of working from home and sheltering in place, it also serves an important role in binding us together in spite of our physical distance.
