Director, Immersions
Charles Mansour has served as the Director of the Immersions Program with the Ignatian Center since August 2016. His primary responsibilities include the coordination of immersion opportunities, as well as the education, formation and accompaniment of student immersion groups as they explore questions of social justice, simplicity, deepening spirituality, and vocation. He received his B.A. from the University of San Diego in Psychology and Theological & Religious Studies. Charles went on to complete a Masters of Education at Providence College through the Providence Alliance for Catholic Teachers and is nearing completion of a Master of Arts in Pastoral Ministry from Boston College. Prior to joining the Ignatian Center team, Charles served as an Associate University Minister at the University of San Diego, a Religion Faculty member at Cathedral Catholic High School in San Diego, a Jesuit Volunteer in Chuuk, Federated States of Micronesia, and a Religion faculty member at Central Catholic High School in Lawrence, MA.
