Under the direction of the Senior Director, HR Operations, the Fiscal Operations Specialist provides accounting and HR transactional support for the Department of Human Resources. The HR Fiscal Operations Specialist is responsible for a wide range of duties which include, but are not limited to, accounting, account reconciliation, budgeting, bill paying, data analysis, planning, reporting, and developing internal procedures. The position also provides input on strategic planning and managing of University’s benefit budget and departmental operating budget.
The Post-Award Specialist/Accountant is responsible for the financial and accounting functions and post-award administration for externally funded awards administered through the Sponsored Projects Office. Assists Post-Award Manager in providing activities and work direction for student workers. Maintains contact with customers and solicits feedback for improved services. Maximizes productivity through use of appropriate tools; planned training and performance initiatives. Researches and develops resources that create timely and efficient workflow. Prepares progress reports; informs supervisor of project status; and deviation from goals. Ensures completeness, accuracy and timeliness of all operational functions. Prepares and submits reports as requested and required. Develops and implements guidelines to support the functions of the unit.
Post-Award Specialist / Accountant
The University competes at the NCAA Division I level and is a member of the West Coast Conference (WCC). Reporting to the Head Coach of Baseball, the Assistant Coach is responsible for assisting in all aspects of running a Division I Baseball program including, but not limited to: game preparation, teaching and coaching; practices and player conditioning; recruitment and retention of student-athletes; program administration; academic integrity; and donor/alumni public relations and youth programs. In addition, the assistant coach is responsible for abiding by all conference and NCAA regulations to ensure departmental compliance.
