The Case of the Term Limited Governor

Term Limited Governor

Term Limited Governor

Hana Callaghan

Governor Scarlett is facing term limits. A former college professor, the governor has decided that he would like to return to academia as president of the state university.  As you are the chief communications officer for the state, he has asked you to issue a press release announcing his intent to pursue the position and reminding voters what a great friend he has always been to the University.  He also wants the press release to announce a press conference in the state house press room where the governor can elaborate on his goals for the University.  The press release will be sent out during the state budgeting process. The governor has always valued education and has always been a champion of the university’s funding requests.

Should you do as the governor asks?
