Welcome to the School of Engineering's 51st Annual Senior Design Conference!
Due to the ongoing global pandemic, our students will present their capstone projects virtually this year. While we miss meeting face-to-face, the necessity to distance physically affords a wonderful opportunity to open our doors figuratively to alumni, family, and friends around the world who ordinarily would be unable to participate.
Our seniors will present their projects in 18 different sessions. For each session, student presenters and assigned judges will gather in a unique Zoom meeting, which will be livestreamed for a wider audience of viewers. This year, you will see that some teams are presenting their projects live, while others have created a pre-recorded video for viewing if they are concerned about a faulty internet connection. Whichever way they choose to present, we trust you will find the students’ work to be impressive and inspiring.
Check out the 2021 Senior Design Presentations Schedule or search for a student presenter by last name to find the session you wish to view. On May 13, 2021, starting at 2:10 p.m. PDT, watch the individual sessions by clicking the links below.
Session winners will be posted on our Results page by 10 a.m. PDT, Friday, May 14.
Video and audio recording of the following presentations is prohibited.
Due to technical difficulties during the Senior Design Conference on May 13, the livestream connection for Interdisciplinary Session 2 was lost before all the teams presented. A recording of this session only will be available for viewing below on Saturday, May 29, 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. PDT.
