Senior Engineering Design Conference
This spring, hundreds of alumni, industry leaders, parents and friends of the School of Engineering will converge on campus to watch our seniors present their capstone projects at the Senior Design Conference.
The annual Senior Engineering Design Conference showcases the mix of hands-on experience and theoretical learning that honors our mission to educate exceptional engineers. A sampling of past projects includes: a bioengineering team's electro-mechanical motion controller for a surgical device; civil engineers' geomorphic restoration and stabilization of a local creek; a computer science and engineering group's use of virtual reality for the treatment of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD); an Internet of Things device for the disabled and elderly designed by electrical engineers; our mechanical engineers' design of a drone for delivery of vaccines and medical supplies to rural health providers; and an interdisciplinary team's research on a solar powered ECG.
Come join us the second Thursday in May for the Senior Design Conference and see what our students have been working on.
