This project involved the redesign of all electronic circuits and electrical connections for the “Cool It” Animal Facts exhibit at Happy Hollow Park & Zoo. The exhibit teaches visitors about how various animals stay cool (maintain body temperature). In this exhibit, the large elephant ears move back and forth to show how blood circulating in the ear can help to cool the animals blood. The interactive “Animal Facts” exhibit is one of seven exhibits which were designed and built by the Lawrence Hall of Science in the 1970's.
