Maria Baulat MSEE '98
Maria Bualat, 1998 Master of Science in Electrical Engineering. The highest honor bestowed by the School of Engineering recognizes graduates whose accomplishments in their professions, communities, and University service have set them apart.
Maria is being honored for her significant career achievements, from managing projects such as NASA’s Mars Technology Program's ARC Rover Testbed to being the Senior Technologist in NASA’s Chief Technologist office headquartered in Washington D.C. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Stanford University and received a Master of Science degree in electrical engineering with an emphasis on controls from Santa Clara University. Maria joined NASA Ames in 1987 and began working in the mobile planetary robotics field in 1995. She is currently the Group Lead for the Intelligent Robotics Group at NASA Ames Research Center.
