Wazer Waterjet
The Wazer waterjet uses a high pressure jet of water with abrasive material to cut metal, plastic, composites, and other materials. In the Maker Lab we have a Wazer Pro Waterjet.

Materials: Metal (steel, aluminum, copper, titanium, nickel, etc.); plastics (ABS, acrylic, polycarbonate, PVC, nylon, etc.); foam (polyurethane, polyethylene, etc.); tile (ceramic, marble, porcelain, granite, etc.); rubber; glass; wood; leather
File Types: DXF or SVG
Material Fees: You can also bring your own materials in to use.
Common Terminology: Kerf- width of material removed when cutting; Garnet- abrasive material mixed with water to cut material
