Dremel Rotary Tool
The dremel rotary tool is a hand held tool with a variety of accessories for cutting, grinding, polishing, etc. In the Maker Lab we have a Dremel 4000, a Dremel Workstation, and various accessories.
Quick Reference
Training Required: Basic Training and Power Tool Training
Materials: Variety of materials- wood, plastic, metals, etc. depending on the accessory used
Material Fees: We have limited material available in the scrap bin. You can bring your own materials.
Common Terminology: Collet- the sleeve that is located on the shaft of the spindle to hold the accessories in place.
