Leadership and Staff
Director
Dr. Asuri is a Professor of Bioengineering in the School of Engineering, as well as Director of the Healthcare Innovation and Design Program. He establishes and executes the overall strategy for the Program, and leads activities related to sourcing and project managing collaborations with various internal and external stakeholders.
Director, Brain and Memory Care Lab
As the Director of the Brain and Memory Care Lab, Dr. Scott oversees projects in the areas of neuroscience, medical imaging, and virtual reality applications. She also supports the development of external partnerships, and organizes lab-sponsored events in support of the mission of the Healthcare Innovation and Design Program.
Director, Strategic Health Communication Lab
Dr. Thai is an Associate Professor of Communication in the College of Arts and Sciences. As Director of the Strategic Health Communication Lab, Dr. Thai leads health communication projects in collaboration with community partners to understand best practices for promoting healthy cognitions and behaviors.
Student Program Manager, BioCAD
Steph is currently pursuing a B.S in Biochemistry, which he intends to apply to a future of research in the biopharmaceutical industry. Currently he supports and manages activities related to the BioCAD program that aims to accelerate digital transformation in biomanufacturing.
