Professor Chris Kitts (Mechanical Engineering) was honored as one of the “Top 40 Silicon Valley Leaders to Watch” by the Association for Corporate Growth Silicon Valley at its annual awards ceremony on May 9 at Microsoft’s Silicon Valley campus. The award recognizes individuals who drive growth and innovation and shape Silicon Valley's future. Dr. Kitts was the only academic to be recognized among the awardees. The roster of those recognized included senior leaders at Amazon, Google Cloud, Adobe, and DocuSign.
