Tell us something interesting about your background.
I am a proud Bay Area native and bilingual! My enthusiasm for education began as an enrichment program instructor at an elementary school. Within the first couple of weeks, I realized there was a demand for passionate educators to believe in and support our future leaders, and since then, I have been in the field of education.
What has led you to your current role?
As a first-generation student, one of my callings is to support undergraduate students through their institutional experience and transition into adulthood. I am passionate about the Drahmann Center's mission "success for every student," which bridges all cross-cultural student experiences and delivers SCU's Jesuit value of Cura Personalis to care for the well-rounded development of a person.
In your spare time, what do you enjoy doing?
I enjoy the outdoors, so you will find me near the ocean or on a mountain peak somewhere! When I am not soaking in the sun, I enjoy trying new food places. I am also shifting gears and diving back into the books as a prospective SCU graduate student in the School of Education and Counseling Psychology!
