June Wayne and the Tamarind Lithography Workshop (Capstone Project)

Santa Clara University seniors Lauren Stein and Maggie Walter developed an exhibition as part of their Art History capstone project.

Working in Winter quarter 2023 with faculty advisor Andrea Pappas, Associate Professor in SCU’s Department of Art and Art History, and de Saisset Museum staff, Stein and Walter researched artworks from the de Saisset Museum’s permanent collection and developed a project focused on artist June Wayne.

In addition to preparing formal research papers, Stein and Walter wrote the texts and envisioned the layout for a display in the de Saisset Museum's Gallery IV (on view in spring quarter 2023).
