Chris Castaneda, SJ

Chris serves as the Campus Minister for Ignatian Spirituality. Chris grew up in San Gabriel, CA. Before entering the Society of Jesus, Chris worked as a licensed Civil Engineer for over ten years. In his five years as a Jesuit, he has been privileged to minister in diverse settings, including prisons, high schools, L'Arche communities, immigrant detention facilities, and universities. The many people he has encountered along the way have provided him with cherished experiences and have enriched his life with beauty and joy.

Chris enjoys staying active through soccer, running, working out, fishing, and hiking. He also appreciates downtime by watching a good game (EPL, NBA, NFL, MLB) or TV show.
