The Living Religion Collaborative sponsored the third "Seeking Spatial Justice in Silicon Valley" panel discussion on May 14.  Panelists included Kurt Foreman, Director of Operations at Cathedral of Faith in San Jose, which is developing affordable housing on its property near the Communications Hill and Willow Glen neighborhoods, and Pastor Gerardo Vazquez of San Jose First United Methodist Church and PACT (People Acting in Community Together), whose church serves a diverse and inclusive community of Latinx immigrants in the downtown area. The discussion was attended by Jaime Wright and Elizabeth Drescher's course "Mapping Living Religion" (RSOC 175) as well as students from "Exploring Living Religion" (RSOC 14), Sociology of Religion (RSOC 99), and other place-based religious studies courses.
