Kelly Wachowicz visited RSOC 64: Comparative Religion & Environmentalism

Kelly Wachowicz spoke on “Investing in Fishermen, Communities, and Conservation" at the RSOC 64: Comparative Religion and Environmentalism class on Wednesday, May 11.  This talk dealt with a moral framework for the impact of investing toward sustainable fisheries and fishing communities.  Wachowicz focused on case studies from her work in the U.S., Brazil, Chile, and the Philippines.  Her work with Bloomberg and Rockefeller philanthropic organizations brought a unique perspective into the classroom conversation on cultivating sustainable, ethical solutions to a variety of environmental problems.
