Professor Ana María received the Virgilio Elizondo Award for distinguished achievement in theology at the ACHTUS (Academy of Catholic Hispanic Theologians of the United States) annual conference in Albuquerque, New Mexico in June 2017.
Margaret McLean
On June 6th, Margaret McLean was granted the Santa Clara County Medical Association Citizen’s Award, which is given to an individual “who is not a member of the Medical Association who has achieved public recognition for a significant contribution in the health field.” Former recipients include: Lucie S. Packard; Robert Silien; Judge Len Edwards; Tom Campbell; Mike and Mary Ellen Fox; Peggy Fleming-Jenkins; and Congress member Anna Eshoo. The ceremony took place at the Fairmont Hotel.
