Jesi Faust teaches courses in politics and international relations. Her research explores human rights and the gendered politics of revolutionary social movements. Her current project entitled, The Gendered Logics of Resistance: Women’s movements from Morocco to the Philippines, explores the political, social, and economic structures of resistance to empire built by women in response to the oppressive structures of empire. A former Boren Fellow, she has published work on the politics of gendered social movements, violence against women, and marriage practices.
