Elizabeth Tejada

Quarterly Adjunct Lecturer

Elizabeth Tejada graduated from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law.  She specializes in representing communities and families in need. She has practiced as trial and appellate counsel in various areas of civil litigation. 

She has spent her career helping communities understand and access the justice system. She believes that by increasing knowledge of and access to the legal system, people will have a better understanding of the law’s potential to achieve justice. Her goal as a professor is to demystify the law and legal process for students. Former students have pursued careers in the law, social work, law enforcement, court staff, and community advocacy. She values and welcomes varying perspectives on the justice system.
