New Faculty Member - Dr. Shan Wu
Dr. Shan Wu has joined the Physics Department as an assistant professor this Fall.
Coming from UC Berkeley, Dr. Wu is conducting cutting edge research in quantum materials aimed at understanding physical mechanisms at the atomic level. Her work involves synthesizing samples, characterizing their macroscopic properties and traveling to national laboratories to peek into microscopic pictures of these novel materials. Dr. Wu is looking forward to working with undergraduate students in her new lab.
