SPS Meeting Code of Conduct

Establishing and maintaining a truly welcoming, respectful, inclusive and supportive environment is the responsibility of all SPS meeting attendees. Everyone associated with the 2024 SPS Zone 18 meeting is expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner that is free from any form of discrimination or harassment of others. All participants should feel comfortable contributing freely to scientific discussions and other healthy exchanges of ideas. Along those lines, while you are visiting us at Santa Clara University (SCU), we ask that you also adhere to our local SPS Chapter Guidelines at SCU:

  • Be kind and respectful of others.
  • Act professionally and ethically.
  • Actively seek to learn and understand new things.
  • Generously share your passion for physics with others.

.... and, of course, please have fun at the meeting!
