Association for Women in Mathematics

The student chapter of the Association for Women in Mathematics (AWM) at Santa Clara University supports the advancement of women in the field of mathematics. Its mission is to create a community in which women and girls can thrive in their mathematical endeavors and to promote equitable opportunity and gender-inclusivity across the mathematical sciences.  The AWM welcomes all who love mathematics and support a more equitable environment for under-represented groups, including women and gender minorities.

We hold several events each quarter, including hikes, game nights, a Women in STEM panel and more.  We welcome your membership!
