Join this year’s Sinatra Artist-in-Residence BD Wong for a performance kicking off his residency at Santa Clara University. In “An Actor’s Journey, An Artist’s Vision,” award-winning actor and 2021-22 Frank Sinatra Chair in the Performing Arts, BD Wong, takes audiences on an adventure through his life and career, highlighting the lessons he’s learned along the way.

BD Wong is one of America’s most versatile performers. His Broadway debut in M. Butterfly earned him a Tony Award, Outer Critics Circle Award, Theatre World Award, Clarence Derwent Award, and Drama Desk Award, making him the only actor to have ever won all five awards for a single role. With more than 45 film and television credits, BD’s notable appearances include Father of the Bride, HBO’s OZ, Law and Order: SVU, the box office hit, Jurassic World and, more recently, Awkwafina is Nora from Queens.
