"I thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity and experience. I really enjoyed learning about the different procedures regarding record keeping, indexing, and things like that. What was quite surprising to me is that they not only kept paper records but also memorabilia from past administrations and even the retired DC electric chair! I also spent some time working at the front desk answering phones and helping researchers which was unexpected but also a good learning experience about customer service.”
