The club aims to provide a social space beyond the classroom for students of all majors to share their passion for history and satisfy their curiosity about how the past can inform our understanding of the present.
As an RSO, the History Club is growing to help connect people through their shared interest in history. Students and faculty alike can analyze and discuss past events at our various meetings and functions, such as game nights and movie showings. These provide club members with an opportunity to learn about new historical events or expand their understanding of well-known ones, while also gaining a chance to take it a step further to examine how they might relate to current events.
