Will Rush

Welcome our newest faculty member, Will Rush. Will is an Assistant Professor of Climate Change and Environmental Geology in ESS and is already wrapping up a productive first year that included teaching ENVS 23 and ENVS 175, and continuing his active research agenda focused on the interface of climate model analysis and paleoclimate proxy interpretation. In the past year he has published a paper in Climates of the Past where he worked with a team to identify and characterize a sequence of hyperthermal events on the East Coast of the United States for the first time, as well as a paper in Geophysical Research Letters characterizing how atmospheric rivers and the hydrologic cycle were altered during the Last Glacial Maximum.
