Lizzie Urie '14
Lizzie was a Political Science major and an Environmental Studies minor and is currently a second year Master of Public Policy student at UC Berkeley's Goldman School of Public Policy. Throughout her time at the Goldman School, Lizzie has focused on food, agriculture, and natural resource management policy, serving as a policy consultant to the Community Alliance with Family Farmers and Sustainable Agriculture Education. She is also an Agroecological Fellow with the UC Gill Tract Community Farm. In her final semester, Lizzie will be working for the California Senate Office of Research for her Master's Thesis project on natural resources bonds. She was recently selected as a Finalist for the Presidential Management Fellows (PMF) Program. The PMF Program was established in 1977 as a leadership development program to attract advanced degree candidates from a variety of academic disciplines and career paths who have a clear interest in, and commitment to, excellence in the management of public policy and programs. We are very proud of Lizzie!
