Caitlin Gronowski
Caitlin Gronowski is from Alamo, California. She was drawn to Classics because she thought a foundation in Latin would strengthen her writing and work well with her History Major. It's hard for Caitlin to narrow it down to one class, so she would say that her favorite courses are the elementary Latin sequence. She met some great friends in that course and was able to develop a great relationship with her professor through the course of her sophomore year.
During her time at SCU, she has been fortunate to work with Professor Crofton-Sleigh on the Lingua Vitae project, a virtual reality game designed for elementary Latin students. Throughout her junior year here, she interned with the Santa Clara County Parks department as an interpretation intern where she spent a year developing educational materials for various county parks as well as assisting with student programs.
After graduating from SCU, Caitlin plans to attend law school and then go on to practice law.
