Student Art vs. Construction
Have you walked around campus lately? If you haven't, you'll see artwork hung along the fences surrounding the STEM project construction. Kelly Detweiler has been working with Matt Cameron for over 20 years to build a collection of student art which is housed in the Benson Center. Kelly helps identify student work that is both outstanding and appropriate for the Benson environment. Matt chooses a couple of pieces and purchases student's work to be display throughout the Benson Center. This year Matt and Kelly identified a few pieces of art that would be good to reproduced on banners. It's great that Matt has recognized the art as a valuable part of the community and that he was willing to step up and help get some of it placed in such a public environment.
