Diversity Core

Faculty in the College of Arts and Sciences provide the vast majority of the Core Curriculum to students across the entire university. This is especially true for the Diversity requirement of the Core which is solely provided by CAS faculty, and most commonly from the Ethnic Studies and Women’s and Gender Studies Departments.
