Dear Colleagues —
I'm pleased to share that the First Destination Survey dashboard is now available.
Explore Outcomes for Class of 2023 »
The First Destination Survey (FDS) captures information regarding how new college graduates fare in their careers within six months of graduation, such as whether they are working, continuing their education, or still looking, along with many other data points such as average base salary, percentage of students who participated in internships, and how well prepared students feel for life after SCU.
The Career Center is available to present this data at your next team or department meeting. Please email me at dhoule@scu.edu to schedule a 30-minute presentation!

Possible CEO David Chase Visits SCU
David Chase, Founder and CEO of Possible, flew in from Seattle to host a reunion + mixer for the 50 Santa Clara students who were selected for the program.
Here's what Santa Clara students are saying about Possible:
“I really appreciated the community aspect and how the content was presented and framed. I've gotten a lot of similar information from other sources, but it always feels overwhelming and often times based on extrinsic values (salary, prestige, etc) whereas Possible approached these topics and conversations from an intrinsic perspective (purpose, motivation, aspirations, etc).” - Daniel Louie, Computer Science & Engineering, School of Engineering
👍
“The amazing programming and fireside chats make Possible effective and impactful for students like myself who enter with little or no experience in any of these fields. It is also an extreme benefit to have recordings to watch in case you miss anything because it provides a holistic learning experience that can mold to the needs of the learners.” - Ruby Gutierrez, Ethnic Studies, College of Arts & Sciences
👍
"Being in the shared cohort with Seattle University for the Possible Fellowship allowed me to open my network and community to students all over the country. I learned so much from my peers, their stories, and their past experiences and that wouldn’t have been possible without the combined cohort with Seattle University! I have gained a new network of supporters and peers who push me to grow in my personal and career goals thanks to Possible." - Ria Panda, Management Information Systems, Leavey School of Business
👍
Did you know that the Career Center provided all 50 students with full scholarships to participate in Possible? We are seeking campus partners to help increase access to this important program for next year. If your department is interested or would like to learn more, please email Dylan Houle at dhoule@scu.edu.
