2nd Annual Friendsgiving Event
Our Friendsgiving event was a wonderful success, bringing together nearly 60 SCU community members for an evening filled with gratitude, connection, and celebration. The warm atmosphere, delicious food, and shared experiences made it an event to remember. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this event a success!
First-year Winter Hardship Application
The Winter first-year hardship application deadline is 12/23/24. If you are a first-year resident student seeking a quarterly resident parking permit, please fill out an application through your AIMS account via your MySCU Portal before this deadline.
Long-Term Permit Options for Faculty/Staff & 2nd Year Students and above
Semi-annual (Winter/Spring) and Winter Quarter Parking Permits go live for sale on December 15th.
Semi-annual and quarterly parking permit options are available to purchase in your AIMS account via your MySCU Portal starting 12/15/24. The option to purchase an annual parking permit ended on 10/30/24. Here is a link to our 2024–25 parking permit chart with go-live and validity dates for future reference.
Winter Break Parking Permit Guidelines
We still enforce over the winter break (Dec.6th-Jan.6th), excluding SCU-recognized holidays for B, E, and F spaces and residential parking lots, which are enforced 24/7. Fall quarter permits expire on 12/31. Make sure you purchase your parking permits through your AIMS portal and place the temporary permit on your dashboard. If you are away during the winter break and your temporary permit will expire before you return to campus, you will need to purchase a daily hangtag in advance to have a valid permit displayed while you are away. Please make these necessary arrangements prior to leaving for the winter break.

Bird Solar Project
The current Bird Solar construction project in the North Campus Garage is anticipated to be completed by the end of January 2025.
Motorized/Electric Scooters on Campus
When used in a safe manner, bicycles and coasting devices (defined as self-propelled, non-pedaled devices such as skateboards, roller skates, rollerblades, and scooters) are an approved use of transportation on SCU property. Persons may coast or ride upon any sidewalk or improved surface used for pedestrian purposes, provided users yield the right-of-way to pedestrians. Speed should not exceed 5 miles per hour in campus parking lots, internal sidewalks, and thoroughfares.
(F) Parking Stalls along Accolti Way (at Leavey Parking Lot)
The (F) parking spaces along Accolti Way (adjacent to the Leavey Parking Lot) are now open for use. Thank you for your patience while we supported construction laydown needs for the Bellomy Field project.
North Alameda Lot Now Open!
The North Alameda (F) Lot is now open for your parking needs. Feel free to park in any “F” overflow lots with a valid SCU parking permit displayed.
Reminder: Compact Spaces Are for Compact Vehicles Only
Please avoid parking large vehicles (vans, SUVs, trucks, etc.) in spaces designated for compact cars. These spaces are specifically sized for smaller vehicles, and parking larger ones can create challenges for others trying to park or navigate the lot. Let’s work together to keep our parking areas accessible for everyone. Thank you!
Notice: Leavey Lot Utilized for Basketball Game Days
On basketball game days, the Leavey Lot will be used for VIP parking. Please utilize the overflow “F” lots for parking during these times with the closest being the Guadalupe parking lot. Thank you for your cooperation in supporting game day operations.
