What are you doing this summer?  I'm working in Bain's private equity group doing diligences on different companies. On my last diligence, we looked at a Waste Management software company, I was a part of the competitive landscape and total addressable market team during the case.

 

What has been the most memorable part of your experience? Getting to see how private equity companies and Bain think about investing and spending time with all my fellow interns. We've gone on several trips together, to Tahoe, backpacking, and Big Sur.

One thing you have learned during this summer experience?  How important good communication is. For example, if one part of the team doesn't coordinate with another area as to what work they are exactly doing and general procedures they can waste time and even repeat work.
