What are you doing this summer? Over the summer, I had the opportunity to work as a financial analyst intern for eBay's global ads finance team. I introduced a system that automates eBay's alternate workforce forecasting and reporting procedure and built up a framework that can be used to onboard analysts onto my process, ensuring that my project will be used for years to come. I also supported the department through various forecasting, budgeting and reporting cycles.

 

What has been the most memorable part of your experience? The most memorable part of my experience has to be intern invent week, a week where all of eBay's interns compete in teams to solve current business problems. I was able to lead a team that came with a product that highlights eBay's carbon dioxide emission savings. My team came in third place as the project would give eBay a better understanding of its carbon footprint while highlighting how eBay's platform helps protect the environment.
