SCUAA is a professional development organization run by driven students within the Accounting/A&IS department. Our goal is to support students within the department to not only further their academic development, but to also connect students to professional service firms.
I joined the association to help others find opportunities in the accounting industry. So many of the events SCUAA put together when I was an underclassman led me to find my love of accounting and figure out where and whom I could go to with questions about my career path.
Getting to know everyone in the department, both students and faculty, has been amazing. I am so grateful for the rest of the SCUAA board and knowing that so many people are here to support us.
