Areas of Interest at SCU and LSB: I'm interested in exploring finance and business analytics. I hope to go into either consulting or investment banking after college and would like to work in Silicon Valley since I can explore the intersection of finance and technology.
What are your SCU and LSB activities/general hobbies: I'm a part of the Intandesh Cultural Club, APSU, SCU MicroFinance Association, and ZiM (Zero Interest Microfinancing). My general hobbies include exploring viewpoints in the Bay, trying new cuisines, and playing basketball.
What internship/employment opportunities have you taken advantage of at LSB: I attended the winter start-up career fair and found both of my freshman finance/business internships through connecting with founders. I've gained crucial expertise and skills in finance while building meaningful connections in Silicon Valley.
Favorite LSB Class and Why? Business 70 with Professor Harris because of his vast knowledge and experience working in various industries. He shared his successes, failures, advice, and strategies for success in an ever-changing business environment.
What made you choose to attend LSB? I wanted to attend LSB because of the multitude of resources offered to students from coffee chats with recruiters to career fairs with employers. Also, the small class size makes LSB a tight-knit and collaborative community.
What advice you wish you had while applying to college? Reaching out to upperclassmen to hear about their experiences and challenges to know if certain programs are the right fit for you. They are able to provide the best advice and insight.
