What are your SCU and LSB activities/general hobbies:
While at Santa Clara I have held many on-campus positions. Currently I hold two student assistant positions in the Undergraduate Business Office as well as in the Office of Student Life. Outside of campus, I have recently accepted an internship opportunity with Apple for summer 2021. I am very excited for this opportunity and all that I’ll be able to learn during my time there.
Favorite LSB class. Why?
Finance 124- Investments. This class was my first real introduction to financial investments and I really enjoyed my professor. She made the material very easy to grasp and gave me the knowledge that I now use when making and facilitating my own portfolio investments. This class truly helped me solidify my decision to become a Finance major, and made me look forward to the kinds of professional opportunities that I could tap into after graduation.
What made you choose to attend LSB?
I chose LSB because I knew coming into college that I had an affinity for business. That being said, when I saw the curriculum and the opportunities that LSB had to offer I felt like it was a perfect match. Being in the middle of the Silicon Valley has proved to be not only an enjoyable experience for me during my time here at Santa Clara, but also a professionally advantageous one.
What advice you wish you had while applying to college?
Some advice that I wish I had while applying to college would probably be to trust that whichever school you end up at will be the right one. You will have the opportunity to grow there and truly discover who you are and where your passions lie.
