SCU and LSB activities/general hobbies:

My favorite commitments on campus consist of being apart of the Women's Ultimate Frisbee team, member of the Colleges against Cancer Club hosting Santa Clara count's Relay for Life annual event, member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Fraternity, participating in the Best Buddies program through SCCAP, participating in intramural basketball league, attending sporting events with my Ruff Riders pass!

What global experiences have you had in college?

I interned at a recruiting firm in Tokyo, Japan for 8 weeks during the summer going into my junior year. I am studying abroad in Nagoya, Japan at Nanzan University during the fall quarter of my senior year.

What internship/employment opportunities have you taken advantage of at LSB?

I am a research intern at the Ciocca Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation for 12 weeks during the summer of my senior year.

Favorite LSB class. Why?

MGMT 80 -"The Global & Cultural Environment of Business." My group and I designed our own product called PureLife portable water filters with a mission to help those in the Philippines to never be far from fresh, filtered water. We also developed a market entry strategy for the Philippines by creating a market intelligence report and a business environment analysis report. We also created a company website using Google sites, a video for the government officials in the Philippines, and powerpoint for the investor community.

What made you choose to attend LSB?

I wanted to follow the footsteps of 4 of my family members who also earned their undergraduate degree at SCU. Two of them are business school alumni in marketing/retail studies and accounting.

What advice you wish you had while applying to college?

Remember that your best academic counselor and career advisor is your heart. Follow it and you'll end up where you belong!
