SCU’s McChesney to Lead Jesuit MBA Network
SANTA CLARA, Calif., April 3, 2018—Toby McChesney, senior assistant dean for graduate business programs in the Leavey School of Business at Santa Clara University, has been named the chair of the Jesuit MBA Network (JEBNET). His three-year appointment began March 19.
JEBNET, a worldwide network made up of 27 AACSB-accredited Catholic, Jesuit institutions and three Catholic institutions, works towards helping people earn their MBA with the full support and advantages of institutions grounded in the 475-year tradition of Jesuit education. The Network, made up of assistant and associate deans and directors from the 30 institutions, meets twice yearly to review and strategize best practices as it relates to MBA and MS business programs. As chair, McChesney will lead these meetings and become the face of JEBNET.
"I am honored to be selected as the chair of JEBNET where I can use my expertise to ensure that the group continues to thrive in graduate management education,” said McChesney, who has successfully led the graduate programs at the Leavey School of Business over the past 18 months. “I look forward to working closely with other Jesuit business school leaders in ways that will benefit the entire network over the next three years.”
Since 1996 JEBNET has benefited hundreds of students allowing them to complete an MBA degree designed to develop strategic business leaders with a genuine sensitivity to the ethical, socially responsible and sustainable aspects of a global society. Learn more at http://jesuitmba.org/.
