Leavey School Ranked #10 in the Country for Undergraduate Business by Money Magazine
SANTA CLARA, Calif. Aug 31, 2017—Santa Clara University’s Leavey School of Business (LSB) ranked 10th in Money Magazine’s latest rankings of the Best Colleges for Business Majors.
The nationwide ranking assesses business schools based on educational quality, affordability, and career payoff for undergraduate business majors.
“We are extremely proud to have our accomplishments recognized at a national level,” said Caryn Beck-Dudley, dean of the LSB. “We are lucky to be able to draw upon the robust talent, internship opportunities, and atmosphere of innovation that is here in our backyard in Silicon Valley. Clearly, the thorough and relevant education our students receive is paying off, when they hit the workforce and are able to adapt nimbly and professionally to the ever-changing needs of the business world.”
Graduates from the Leavey School of Business attain average early career earnings of $69,000, topping all but two of the 50 schools that made the list, according to data from the Seattle-based compensation-data company Payscale. Fifteen percent of students receive merit grants to help pay tuition, and a third receive need-based grants.
The outstanding undergraduate program combined with new initiatives being developed at LSB focusing on advancing women, real estate, and conscientious capitalism, give students more opportunities than ever to excel into the business world.
