Sam Lee : Hackworth Grant Recipient : Markkula Center for Applied Ethics
Sam Lee, assistant professor of finance, is one recipient of the Markkula Center for Applied Ethics’ Fall 2015 round of Hackworth Grant for Research and Teaching.
This grant will support his project "Optimal Regulation of Prostitution Markets: Protection of Sex Workers vs. Prevention of Sex Trafficking," and will aid research in various strategies for the regulation of prostitution, with the intention to find which strategy best protects workers and prevents human trafficking. It will provide funds to travel to and present the findings at an academic conference.
