Skaggs Distinguished Professor and director of the Retail Management Institute at Santa Clara, contributed to an ABC7 article about San Jose based Ebay’s recent cut of 300 Bay Area jobs. However, analysts say although the loss of jobs can be sobering, the Silicon Valley economy is stronger than it has ever been.
