Jo-Ellen Pozner : Criminal Investigation of Wells Fargo : ABC 7 News
Jo-Ellen Pozner, an assistant professor of management for the Leavey School of Business, was recently quoted by ABC 7 News in a piece discussing the California Attorney General’s newly-announced criminal investigation of Wells Fargo. Her insight into the banking company’s scandal is especially relevant given that the focus of her research is on questions of organizational ethics and institutional change.
“My research shows that we tend to feel better about getting over infractions if there’s a punishment," Pozner said. "I think this is a really important way for customers to gain trust, not only in the banking system, but also in the regulatory system and the judicial system.”
